With over 20-years experience in genealogy research and a wide range of skills outside of the standard genealogy-realm, I am not your momma’s genealogist. Rather, I’m a project-wrangling, fact-sleuthing, story-communicating expert who can help you bring your family’s genealogy to life.

I was born and raised in Colorado and am a self-described geek who started researching her own family before she was a teenager. I studied at the University of Colorado, Boulder, receiving a Bachelors degree in biology and doing post-graduate work in evolutionary genetics. This, of course, led to a 12-year career in publishing at Microsoft. Now, returning to my early passions, I’m combine my skills and interests to provide unique combination of knowledge to help you learn about your past.

Professional Associations & Organizations: I’m proud to be a member of the Association of Professional Genealogists (APG), Puget Sound Chapter-APG, National Genealogical Society, Seattle Genealogical Society, and Geneabloggers
